Only true fans will know 'The Office' and 'Parks and Rec' have this actress in common

No, not Rashida Jones.

Any fan of Parks and Rec and The Office can tell you the two shows have a lot in common.

For starters, they're both delightful NBC comedies. They were also both made possible by the brilliant minds of Greg Daniels and Michael Schur and starred Rashida Jones. But it takes a real hardcore fan to notice that the two shows had one minor (yet memorable) actress in common: April Eden.

For those who don't know the name off the tops of their heads, on Wednesday Netflix tweeted a side-by-side comparison revealing Eden played both Michael Scott's chair model crush and Miss Pawnee 2009. Astounding.

Eden first appeared in a 2008 episode of The Office titled "Chair Model" (Season 4, Episode 14). She played a character named Deborah Shoshlefski, who caught Michael's eye while he was looking through a catalogue for office supplies.

"Have you ever seen this woman? Those eyes, look at her eyes. She's got — I don't know what it is exactly. She dresses like a professional and yet you know there is a side of her that can just curl up on a couch," Michael can be heard saying in the video shared by Netflix.

Have no fear though, because little did we know Deborah would live to see another day on an NBC comedy ... sort of. Eden graced the network again in a 2009 episode of Parks and Rec titled, "Beauty Pageant," where she played Trish Ianetta, winner of Miss Pawnee contest.

"Hi y'all, I'm Trish. I'm 22-years-old. I've been on YouTube, um, I just love to hang out with my friends. I love to laugh," Eden says in the second half of the Netflix video.

Though Eden's presence in both beloved comedies has been noted before online in episode trivia and on several Reddit threads, the news still came as a shock to many fans after seeing the Netflix tweet.

Though this came as a shock to some, Eden wasn't the only crossovers between the two shows. In addition to Eden and Jones, Rob Heubel and Yvette Nicole Brown — to name a few — have also appeared on both Parks and Rec and The Office.

And while there's no denying losing Eden was devastating at the time — mostly for Michael — one fan came up with a logical explanation as to why Eden's stay in Scranton was so short.

Whatever the reason, in the end it seems Deborah's departure from The Office was for the best. Michael found love with Holly and Eden went on to take home a pageant title. A win-win.
