The contamination came to light on Friday when Ruiz Foods informed the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service of three consumer complaints about foreign material in the wraps.

The source of the small rock contaminants is under investigation.

The wraps came in eight-pack family size film packages marked with 'Best if Used By' dates of 01/17/2020 and 01/18/2020 and lot codes 19017 and 19018.

Items fitting that description should be thrown away or can be returned to the place of purchase for a refund.

The recall affects 246,514 pounds of product, or roughly 17,000 individual burritos.
