Would you give your extra legroom seat to Cam Newton for $1,500?

by Daniel Tran

A video surfaced on social media showing Cam Newton reportedly offering $1,500 to a passenger to trade seats for more leg room and getting refused. While going viral for rejecting a $100 million superstar athlete might be nice, some would take that money in a heartbeat for a couple of hours of cramped space. Still, the value of leg room is priceless and let alone $1,500 from an athlete throwing his money around. Would you take the money?

You can be as stubborn as you want, $1,500 is $1,500. Is what you can buy with that bag:

-Rent-A car

- more plane tickets

- 100 $15 meals

- 300 $5 meals

Need I say more?

There are some things money can’t buy and a comfortable flight is one of them. Entitled athletes need to be shown they can’t just buy their problems away. If they made a bad purchase, planned poorly or make bad decisions, they need to face the consequences like everyone else. If that comes in the form of an uncomfortable flight, so be it.
