Donna Air has offered a reward for the return of her ice skates after they were stolen from her car just days ahead of her performance on Dancing on Ice.

The former actress begged fans to help find her skates in a series of Twitter posts, complaining that they would be “impossible” to replace ahead of Sunday’s show as they had been moulded to her feet.

Directly tweeting the Met Police, Air wrote: “Reward for anyone who FINDS my skates . I’m sure the thief would have dumped them somewhere as of no use to anyone but me ! moulded to my feet and impossible to replace for Sunday.”

She went on to say that she had CCTV footage of the crime, that reportedly took place in the car park of a gym she was using.

“@metpoliceuk please contact me we have clear CCTV footage of my theft and culprits stealing my possessions and @dancingonice Skates!!,” she wrote.

The former Byker Grove star went on to say that she has spent two hours searching the area in case the skates had been discarded.
