It wasn't as much snow as some had hoped, but that didn't stop residents from admiring the scenery or building snowmen.
VIRGINIA — Northern Virginia, DC and other areas got several inches of snow to close out the month of January on Sunday. The snow may have not matched the intensity seen in other parts of the northeast. But for those who managed to get outside Sunday, a winter wonderland of snow awaited. We asked to see your photos, and you answered.
Patch got submissions from the National Mall in DC and neighborhoods around Northern Virginia. From families having fun in the snow to views of the window and a drone video, these photos capture what the day was like.
