August is Ingmar Bergman month at Cinestudio, which is showing 14 films by the great Swedish film auteur from Aug. 3 to 23. Here’s the lineup: Unless otherwise noted, all showtimes are 7:30 p.m.

“Wild Strawberries,” a 1957 drama about an aging, unhappy man. Aug. 3 and 15.

“The Magician,” a 1958 comic drama about an itinerant magician who comes to a skeptical town. Aug. 4 at 2:30 p.m. and Aug. 14.

“The Seventh Seal,” a 1957 drama about a Crusader returning home to Sweden ravaged by the Black Death. Aug. 4 and 15.

“The Virgin Spring,” a 1960 drama about two girls sent on a life-changing errand. Aug. 5 at 2:30 p.m. and Aug. 16.

“Through a Glass Darkly,” a 1961 drama about an unstable woman. Aug. 5 and 17.

“The Silence,” a 1963 drama about people in a war-torn country. Aug. 6 and 19.

“Winter Light,” a 1963 story of a priest struggling with his faith. Aug. 7.

“Persona,” a 1966 drama about a mute actress’ caretaker. Aug. 8 and 18.

“Shame,” a 1968 drama about a troubled couple during wartime. Aug 9 and 19.

“Hour of the Wolf,” a 1968 horror about a disturbed artist. Aug. 10 and 20.

“The Passion of Anna,” a 1969 drama about a divorcee and a widow. Aug. 11 at 2:30 p.m. and Aug. 21.

“Cries & Whispers,” a 1972 drama about a dying woman’s sisters. Aug. 11 and 22.

“The Magic Flute,” a 1975 fantasy about a man on a quest. Aug. 12 at 2:30 p.m. and Aug. 23.

“Autumn Sonata,” a 1978 drama about a pianist and her daughter. Aug. 12.
