Harry Styles just wants to be part of your world.
On Friday, photos of the “Golden” singer dressed as Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” sparked a tidal wave of excitement on social media.
The viral photoshoot — which sees the 27-year-old singer wearing a seashell bra, green tail and red wig and holding a glass of champagne and a cigarette — is an apparent leak from his 2019 “Saturday Night Live” photoshoot.
In one of the images that made it to air, Styles kept the serious modeling face and the champagne and cigarettes, but swapped the mermaid look for a ballerina outfit, jumping for joy in a tutu.
In other photos, he poses with a harp, wearing a puffy shirt befitting of Prince Eric.
Styles fans quickly went to work creating memes and sharing the photos far and wide; one even pointed out a time when he sported a shirt with a quote from the movie: “But daddy, I love him.”
It appears the former One Directioner has always had a thing for the mythological creature; in 2014, he unveiled a tattoo of a mermaid on his forearm. When asked about its meaning, he simply responded, “I am a mermaid.”
In 2019, he also turned down the role of Prince Eric in the live-action movie starring Halle Bailey.
Perhaps he would have been more suited to the title role.
