A TAUNTON company has been hit with a bill for more than £2,000 following a court case.
Telecommunications ContractorsSouthWest Overhead Services Ltd was guilty of failing to give police information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
The charge followed an incident in Plymouth on January 20 this year.
The case against the company, based at Drake House, Cook Way, Bindon Road, was proved in its absence at a hearing at Taunton Magistrates' Court on Friday (December 8).
ContractorsSouthWest Overhead Services Ltd was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £400 and a contribution of £685 towards the Crown Prosecution Service's costs.
The total court bill of £2,085 must be paid by January 5.
