Sellers heads to Wesminster!

FZN Senior Savannah Sellers recently committed to play volleyball at Westminster College located in Fulton, Missouri. Sellers was a two-year starter for the Panther volleyball program. This past fall the Panthers finished the season with a 17 – 11 – 1 mark. She recorded 39 kills, 41 digs and 28 blocks this past season for the “Volleycats.” Prior to her arrival at North High, Sellers gained valuable experience in the sport while playing club volleyball in her former hometown of Marshfield, Missouri. After transferring to FZN, Sellers continued her club volleyball career as a member of the St. Peters Motion and the St. Charles MOVA clubs. Sellers has recently put her experience and knowledge in the sport to good use, serving as an assistant coach for the 11U Wentzville Heat program. An excellent student, Sellers is a two-time member of the conference’s “All-Academic” team.

Westminster College is a NCAA Division 3 institution that competes in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Last season the Blue Jays advanced to the NCAA D3 Tournament and finished the year with a 19 – 9 record.
