Isle of Wight emergency teams are responding to an incident in Wootton this evening (Friday, January 5).
Two police vehicles are at the scene on Kite Hill, near The Sloop Inn and Wootton Bridge, just beyond the High Street.
Officers have been joined by crews from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Traffic is still moving through the area, with only minor delays for drivers travelling into Wootton (see above).
The County Press has contacted Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary for a statement.
