Small Brush Fire In Alameda Friday Night
Arriving crews called for additional resources to save nearby structures.
ALAMEDA, CA — The Alameda Fire Department doused a small fire on Harbor Bay Parkway Friday night. There were no injuries and no structures were lost.
When firefighters first arrived, the one acre fire was threatening structures. Additional resources were called to the scene. Crews using hand tools and hoses took about a half hour to get the fire out.
A total of five engines, two trucks, two medic units and the Duty Chief responded.
