Amanda Kloots has been spotted for the first time in public since the death of her husband, Broadway actor Nick Cordero.

She was photographed Thursday while running errands in Los Angeles, wearing a gray T-shirt decorated with the name “Elvis,” an apparent reference to the 13-month-old son she shares with the late actor. She also had on a face mask.

Cordero, 41, died on July 5 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a months-long battle with coronavirus, which Kloots kept his dedicated fanbase updated on every step of the way.

She has continued to share moments of the family’s life in the wake of his death. In a post to her Instagram account announcing her husband’s passing, Kloots, 38, wrote, “My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth.”

Since then, Kloots has taken to social media to share her grief, posting several photos she found on Cordero’s phone.

While this is the first time Kloots has been seen in public since Cordero’s death, Elvis was photographed on Monday being taken for a walk by the late actor’s longtime friend Zach Braff and his girlfriend, Florence Pugh.

A GoFundMe page was set up to help Kloots pay for Cordero’s funeral and hospital bills.
