One person was injured in a collision involving tfourtractor-trailers along Interstate 287 early Tuesday that snarled traffic for hours, authorities said.
One of the tractor-trailers jackknifed just after 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes near milepost 58.2 in Oakland, State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez said.
A small amount of fuel spilled from the jack-knifed truck, but was contained following the collision near exit 57 (Skyline Drive).
Two lanes were blocked for about two hours, causing backups that stretched about 10 miles at one point.
The tractor-trailer that jackknifed was empty of cargo. One of the trucks was a tandem FedEx truck. State Police didn't have information about the third tractor-trailer.
The injury was minor, Goez said.
