E-40 is returning to the Alameda County Fair this summer.

The Vallejo rapper is scheduled to perform on June 20, hittings the fair’s stage again after a hyphy performance last year. A local icon, E-40 received the key to the city of Vallejo from officials in October, had a stretch of Magazine Street where he grew up named “E-40 Way” in his honor and is a staple at Bay Area sporting events.

Among other acts announced for the fair are Grammy-nominated country singer Hunter Hayes, who is scheduled for July 5, and local tribute band Fast Times, set to perform on July 6. More headliners are expected to be announced over the next two months.

This year’s fair kicks off on June 14 and wraps up on July 7. Along with the musical performances, the annual outdoor event features horse racing, movies on the lawn, a drone show and a carnival, complete with roller coaster rides.

Season pass holders will get early access to tickets on March 13, and general ticket sales begin March 15. Fair tickets and concert tickets must be purchased separately.

“We have a really incredible line-up of performers this year,” Director of Marketing and Business Development Kristin LaPorte said in a statement. “Whether it is rock, pop, country, hip hop or tribute bands, folks can find all their favorites here at the Fair.”
