Drive-By Shooting Leaves 3 Wounded In Nassau

Police say the three were walking down the street in the afternoon when they were shot by someone in a car.

UNIONDALE, NY — Three people were wounded in a drive-by shooting in Uniondale Saturday afternoon, Nassau County police said.

According to police, two 17-year-old boys and a 23-year-old woman were walking on Northern Parkway at 2:10 p.m. when they were shot by someone in a dark-colored car. The vehicle fled the scene. There's no description available.

The three people were taken to a hospital for treatment, and are in stable condition.

Police ask anyone with information about this shooting to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
