Broncos Trade Jerry Jeudy to Browns for Pair of NFL Draft Picks, per Sources

The Cleveland Browns are acquiring wide receiver Jerry Jeudy in a trade with the Denver Broncos, sources tell Sports Illustrated‘s Albert Breer. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the news. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Denver will receive a fifth- and sixth-round pick back as part of the deal.

Jeudy was the Broncos’ first-round pick during the 2020 draft, but he was never able to live up to those expectations. In four seasons, Jeudy has produced just over 3,000 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns in 57 games.

The wide receiver has one year left on his contract, as the Broncos picked up Jeudy’s fifth-year option before the start of the 2023 season. Jeudy will make just under $13 million in 2024 before hitting free agency in 2025.

Cleveland adds Jeudy to an offense led by Amari Cooper but also includes wide receiver Elijah Moore and tight end David Njoku. Both Cooper and Moore are also set to hit free agency after this season, while Njoku is signed through 2025.
