Disney actor Sebastian Athie died at the age of 24 over the weekend.
The star, who was born in Mexico, was best known for playing Lorenzo Guevara on the teen Argentinian TV series O11CE, which aired on Disney Channel Latin America, and was also dubbed into English as it went by the name Disney 11.
'With deep regret... on behalf of the association [we] report the significant death of Sebastián Athié. He was 24 years old,' it said in a statement from The National Association of Actors of Mexico. 'We send a hug of solidarity to his family and friends with our deepest condolences.'

Disney Channel Latin America, and Disney Radio Brasil, said in a statement: 'Rest in peace, Sebas. Your art and your smile stay forever.
'We regret the departure of Sebastián Athié and we will always remember him for his talent, companionship, professionalism and above all, enormous heart,' it was added.
'We accompany his family, friends and fans in his farewell.'

His O11CE co-star Santiago Stieben said online: 'I am very sad indeed. I was hesitant to make this video.
'But I feel like I want to share with everyone the love I have for you. My hug to your family, my best memories with you always.'
He added, 'To be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.'
O11CE was about soccer player Gabo (played by Mariano González) who lands a scholarship from the prestigious Sports Academic Institute (IAD). Sebastian played one of his fellow players.
Sebastian also appeared on the TV show La rosa de Guadalupe in 2014 and 2015.
