CONCORD, NH — A GoFundMe site has been set up by friends of Nathalia Da Paixao, the Concord wife and mother who was brutally murdered on Sunday, outside of her apartment on the Branch Turnpike on the Concord Heights. El Shekkinah, a friend of the family, set up the site Monday in an effort to raise $50,000 to offset the financial needs of Da Paixao's two children, including funeral expenses for their mother. More than $10,000 had been raised as of July 31.

"As her friends, her family her support, we are coming together as a community to raise money for her funeral costs and all other costs that come along with such a tragic death," Shekkinah wrote. "Nathalia left behind 2 loving young kids that now more than ever are going to need not only emotional support but also financial support. They are only 13 and 10. These two kids lost both of their parents in 1 Day. The pain they are going through is unimaginable."

Shekkinah also posted a Facebook video of some of the victim's friends and family after the court arraignment of Da Paixao's husband, Emerson Jaques Figueiredo, who faces two second-degree murder charges.
