Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein had race criteria when procuring girls, accuser said

Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell allegedly instructed one of their victims to procure other young girls for them to abuse — but specifically asked them not to go after people of color, according to newly unsealed court documents.

Accuser Virginia Giuffre told two lawyers about the pair’s alleged race criteria in a 2011 phone call ahead of her filing a defamation lawsuit against Maxwell in 2015.

When asked if she knew how Epstein developed relationships for the girls he would abuse, Giuffre said she personally would go out with other girls to find potential victims for Epstein to abuse.

“What instructions were you given about what to look for?” a lawyer asked, according to the document.

“Young, pretty, you know, a fun personality. They couldn’t be black. If they were any other descent other than white, they had to be exotically beautiful. That was just about it,” she said.

She added that both Maxwell and Epstein directed her to pick up potential victims and that they instructed most girls in their orbit to do so.

“Jeffrey asked most girls to bring a friend and make extra money. They would use us young girls so that way it probably looked a lot more safer to a girl that we were procuring,” she said.

Her 2011 statement was released Thursday night as part of a cache of documents that were unsealed in a now-settled defamation case against Maxwell.

Maxwell was arrested in early July for allegedly procuring girls for Epstein to abuse and for lying under oath in the defamation case. She’s pleaded not guilty and was ordered held without bail at an initial court hearing.
