RESTON, VA -- A Reston Hospital patient started acting disorderly and threatened hospital staff before eventually spitting on a responding police officer, police say.

Police were called to Reston Hospital at 1850 Town Center Parkway at around 6:29 p.m. on July 2 to a report of a man acting disorderly, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

"During the arrest, he spat on an officer and was also charged with assault on a law enforcement officer," the report states.

Police charged 47-year-old Brian Baker with assault and disorderly conduct, on top of the assault on law enforcement charge.
