The Central Florida Knights continue to celebrate their undefeated football season and their self-proclaimed national championship.

The Knights hung a national championship banner at the practice facility.

According to The Orlando Sentinel, "National Champions -- The Only 2017 Undefeated Champion" is seen in two spots around fence on the practice fields.

The Knights beat Auburn 34-27 in the Jan. 1 Peach Bowl and finished as the only undefeated team in the country. The Peach Bowl win also is recognized at the facility.

Despite the record, Central Florida missed the final four. In fact, the Knights finished No. 12 in the rankings.

However, that hasn't stopped athletic director Danny White from pushing his team for national-championship status.

Since then, the Central Florida team had a parade at Disney World to celebrate the designation.

According to the report, White said a national champions banner also will be raised inside Spectrum Stadium.
