Former NFL Player Who Reportedly Claimed He Didn’t Date Black Women Now Claims That White Ex-Girlfriend Beat Him and Called Him the N-Word

Former Tennessee Titans and Washington NFL team defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is going to have a hard time finding any sympathy from black women now that he’s reportedly been domestically abused by his white ex-girlfriend, who also allegedly called him a nigger on several occasions.

That’s because six years ago, when Haynesworth was playing for Washington, he was accused of grabbing a black waitress’s breast in a Washington, D.C., hotel.

According to statements purportedly given to a detective who was investigating the case, Haynesworth supposedly said, “I know what this is about: [The waitress] is just upset I have a white girlfriend. I couldn’t tell you the last time I dated a black girl.”

On Wednesday the 6-foot-6-inch, 300-pound former lineman tweeted that his ex-girlfriend—former Tennessee Lady Vols player Brittany Jackson—allegedly used to racially and physically abuse him. Haynesworth and Jackson have a son together named Ayden. In a series of tweets, Haynesworth accused Jackson of calling him the n-word and talked about her “extremely violent” tendencies. He also claimed that he had to call police several times to restrain her.

“Not only has she called me unthinkable names she has been extremely violent where more than 10 times in Tennessee and Florida I, me, Albert called the police to restrain her. Yes I have witnesses and bruises but me for some reason still tried to protect her by not sending her to jail [because] I didn’t want to ruin her so called career and name,” Haynesworth tweeted, CBS Sports reports.

Here’s how CBS Sports describes the tumultuous relationship between the two:

According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, on Jan. 10 the police were summoned to a home in Southeast Knox County. Allegedly Jackson had kicked Haynesworth in the groin, but by the time the police had arrived she was gone and Haynesworth didn’t want to pursue charges.

After a career that embodied the expression “the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long,” Haynesworth led a troubled post-NFL life. In Reston, Virginia he was charged with simple assault in a road rage incident, and he later pleaded no contest to charges of sexual assault in Washington D.C. That case never went to trial, and Haynesworth took part in programs and community service.

Jackson, meanwhile, has pleaded guilty to assault in the past. Haynesworth also accused Jackson’s charity work of being fraudulent. He claims that she requests checks be written out to her charity, rather than the Chattanooga Alzeimer’s Foundation, so that she can pocket the majority of the checks herself. Every year, Jackson hosts an “All Star Weekend.” The validity of Haynesworth’s allegations are unknown.

After Twitter reminded Haynesworth why they don’t fuck with him, he posted this lovely shoutout to all the ladies.

Real smooth, Fat Albert.

Jackson has denied Haynesworth’s claims, noting that the couple are involved in litigation and that she couldn’t be racist because she was with him for two years and is the mother of their biracial child.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reports that Jackson said:

“(I)t is critically important to our child that albert (sic) begins to focus on being a good and supportive father. This is a very difficult time for me and our child.

“Shockingly enough finding out I am the mother of Alberts 7th child, I do not feel I need to stoop to make public his true conduct. As for the domestic accusations, I can not comment at this time due to current litigations but the truth always surfaces.

“Accusations of me being racially biased are absurd. Come on albert we lived together for over 2 years and have a beautiful biracial baby that I love more than anything in this world!”
