Rashida Tlaib says Trump ‘only cares about himself’ after COVID-19 diagnosis

So much for sympathy from the left wing of the Democratic Party.

Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib ripped President Trump over his coronavirus diagnosis on Friday, declaring he “only cares about himself.”

“He still won’t wear a mask,” the congresswoman tweeted. “He only cares about himself and his life, NOT those around him or the people he took an oath to protect. Too many lives lost because of his deadly lies.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also took a swipe at Trump upon learning of his illness, insinuating on MSNBC Friday that he deserved his fate.

“This is tragic, it’s very sad, but it’s also something that, again, going into crowds unmasked and all the rest, was sort of a brazen invitation for something like this to happen,” the speaker said.

“It’s sad that it did but nonetheless hopeful that it will be a transition to a saner approach to what this virus is all about,” she said.

Tlaib is notorious for her attacks against the president, once claiming he was “scared” of the so-called “Squad” she’s part of, along with Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar Minnesota and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts.
