The president also highlighted a news report from Fox News on Sunday, noting that McCabe allegedly used his FBI email to promote his wife’s campaign.

McCabe announced his retirement after a disastrous round of Congressional testimony, where he reportedly failed to answer basic questions about his connections with the anti-Trump Russian dossier and the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
In response, Trump accused McCabe of political bias in the Clinton email investigation, citing the campaign funds from Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s political action committee to his wife Cynthia McCabe for a state senate run in Virginia.
