Here’s what to expect from Thursday’s weather forecast

Hurricane Humberto's effects will be felt on the coast amid an otherwise tame day.

Thursday’s weather conditions will feel fairly mild — unless you’re taking a beach day. High pressure sitting over New England means mostly clear skies, light winds, and high temperatures in the mid-60s to 70 degrees. Meanwhile, the South Coast is in for dangerous surf and rip currents from Hurricane Humberto, which continues to travel north up the Atlantic Ocean. Surf and rip current advisories will also include the South Shore and North Shore on Thursday night.
