John Krasinski on 'The Office' Reboot: 'I'd Love to Get That Gang Back Together'

Yet another cast member says they'd be down to return for NBC's rumored reboot.

During a recent appearance on Ellen, John Krasinski spoke about about his upcoming horror film A Quiet Place, which he directed and stars in alongside wife Emily Blunt, and gave a brief comment on NBC's rumored reboot of The OfficeTVLine reported that the storyline for the possible reboot will remain faithful to the original's premise but the cast will apparently feature some new actors alongside previous stars. Steve Carell will not be involved, and now John Krasinski says he hasn't been approached.

When asked about the reboot, he said, "Guess who didn't get a call? Me." Explaining that he heard about the reboot for the first time on the internet, Krasinski said, "What does that say? NBC's like, 'You know who we didn't like? Jim.'" Ellen responded, "They wouldn't do it without you," to which Krasinski said, "Well, it looks like they are. I haven't got a call yet."

However, he's expressed that he's very much game for it, adding, "Oh my god, are you kidding? I'd love to get that gang back together."

Jenna Fischer has also expressed interest in returning. Speaking about it to The Hollywood Reporter, Fischer explained, "I loved playing that character and as long as Greg Daniels is the person in charge and the visionary behind it, then I would absolutely be up for it." Pam and Jim might be reunited together on screen just yet.
