Adam Lambert shops like a rock star

When Adam Lambert and Queen opened this year’s Oscars ceremony with an electrifying performance, the star-studded audience leapt to their feet and unabashedly rocked out. That’s the effect that the former “American Idol” contestant often has on crowds. The 37-year-old singer, songwriter, actor and LGBTQ activist — who recently bought a home in the Hollywood Hills — kicks off his North American summer tour with Queen in July. (They’re playing Madison Square Garden on Aug. 6 and 7.) He also just dropped the single “New Eyes” from his upcoming, fourth studio album, “Velvet.” And if that’s not enough, he’s lending his voice to the character “Emperor Maximus” in “Playmobil: The Movie,” out in August. Here, the dapper artist shares his encore-worthy style essentials.

“I can’t seem to get enough of these boots. They have a rubber sole, which [gives] them a lower impact for dancing, and they have a really exaggerated cowboy shape. They look good with everything!”

Calvin Klein 205W39NYC “Chris Crosta” Chelsea boots, $900 at SSENSE.

“The sound quality on this thing is everything! I have been listening to my new music, especially my single ‘New Eyes,’ very loudly!”

“Stanmore” multi-room speaker, $450 at Marshall Headphones.

“As a longtime wearer of Tom Ford’s ‘Tuscan Leather,’ I was excited to learn about this scent, which has a slightly sweeter finish to it. I like the sensuality and earthiness of it.”

Tom Ford “Ombré Leather” eau de parfum (50 ml), $125 at Neiman Marcus.

“I wanted my first single to reflect my current state of mind and to bring listeners into a romantic, earthy vibe. ‘New Eyes’ is a love letter to innocence and to finding new passions.”

“New Eyes” song by Adam Lambert, $1.29 on Apple iTunes.

“This tinted moisturizer/primer has the perfect texture and coverage for a natural, even look. It cuts out any redness and creates a healthy glow. It’s highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way.”

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Perfector, $36 at Camera Ready Cosmetics.

“I’ve always been blown away by [David] LaChapelle’s photography. His use of color is electric, and his camp social commentary is always razor sharp. He’s a true visionary.”

“LaChapelle: Heaven to Hell” book by David LaChapelle, $43 at Barnes & Noble.

“I saw this killer blazer [that I wore to the Oscars] online and fell in love. I called the Givenchy store In New York, ’cuz I’m a DIY kinda guy, and they found the one and only in the US. I want to frame it!”

Tuxedo jacket, $9,485 at Givenchy.

“I love jewel-toned blues and greens … This flat teal color makes me happy.”

Nail lacquer in “Amazon … Amazoff,” $11 at OPI.

“I’ve been growing out my hair into a more vintage style, and this product keeps it looking rock ’n’ roll. It’s super easy to use and has a real pleasant scent.”

Style Sexy Hair Play Dirty dry wax spray, $19 at Ulta.

“I love wearing these oversized shields when I go out at night. They are clear enough to still make eye contact while evoking Tom Ford’s signature love for the ’70s.”

“Spector” sunglasses, $525 at Tom Ford.

“I love this funky piece from Gucci. I bought it at the boutique in Vegas before attending the opening night of Lady Gaga’s ‘Enigma’ [residency]. I wanted something camp and whimsical.”

Gucci gold, crystal and pearl necklace, $1,590 at SSENSE.

“I just got this bag, and it’s the perfect size for all the traveling I do. Everything I need at a moment’s notice fits perfectly in it, and it is so lightweight! I love the retro classic detailing.”

“Ophidia” GG mini duffle, $1,980 at Gucci.
