FARGO — Crews completed work on Phase 1 of the 42nd Street pavement repair project Thursday afternoon and reopened 42nd Street over I-94.
Crews will now move the work zone south. For drivers, this means traffic will be carried in a single lane in each direction on 42nd Street. During CPR projects, crews removed the bad areas of concrete pavement and replace the area with new concrete. Sections of the roadway will reopen to traffic once designed strength has been achieved on the new concrete.
Work will be completed on the last phase of the CPR project by mid-October.
