If you've ever watched an episode of Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch, you know crabbing is no easy job. But all that stress and drama goes to a good cause — especially for those that frequent Red Lobster. Turns out, the seafood restaurant buys a large portion of the snow crab you see Casey McManus and Josh Harris slinging around on the show.

Red Lobster confirmed that many of the items on their Crabfest menu use crab caught on boats shown on the show (now that this knowledge is in your head, good luck watching Deadliest Catch without thinking of cheddar biscuits). Their relationship started three years ago, Red Lobster said, and stems from a mutual commitment to sustainable fishing and "seafood with standards."

In a series of videos filmed for the two brands, Red Lobster's Director of Procurement, Skip Frisz, said this: "Red Lobster's been working with suppliers in Alaska for many, many years. I'm very proud of the high quality crab Josh and Casey of the Cornelia Marie bring to Red Lobster."

As for Casey and Josh, they work by the motto "There's only one way to fish for crab — the hard way." That means following the rules regarding fishing quotas, tossing back small crabs and only harvesting in season to ensure there will be "plenty of crab in our waters for generations to come," Casey explains.

Red Lobster's summer Crabfest menu is available at restaurants now, and includes three different types of crab, Crab-Topped Tilapia, Crab Bites, Crab Linguini Alfredo, and more. Crabfest's signature drink, the Rogue Wave, even comes in a Deadliest Catch souvenir mason jar glass, which diners can take home after finishing the bright blue margarita. What a pairing!
