The Bachelor finale was truly one for the books. A super quick synopsis: Peter proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss, then proceeded to dump her and later reunite with Madison Prewett (he told her that he still loves her). As the drama unfolded on "After The Final Rose," Peter's mom, Barbara Weber, became a controversial person among fans, since she was super vocal about her dislike of Madison.

Well, apparently she meant everything she said because Barb previously direct messaged someone on Instagram basically the same talking points, which was obtained and then shared by noted Bachelor spoilers blogger Reality Steve on Twitter. (Worth noting: It's unclear if Barbara sent the DM to Reality Steve himself or a Bachelor fan who then passed the intel on to him.)

"I believe every word Barb said tonight bc she told someone THE EXACT SAME THING IN A DM EARLIER TODAY. Wow. She truly despises Madison. Feast your eyes..."

The DM reads:

"Unfortunately what wasn't shown was how it all started. Madison had us wait 3 hours because she didn't want to come in to meet us. My son begged her to do so. Once in she never offered an apology (keep in mind we had traveled across the world to meet both girls). When I asked her if she loved my son she said NO! And that she would not accept a proposal in 4 days. (Then what was she doing there?) My son Jack pointed out to Peter that in the small time he was there she was all about herself and not about Peter. Trust me when I say all that glitters is not gold!!! Thank you."

Of course, Twitter had lots of thoughts about it.

"Someone should tell Barb that it’s not a requirement to get engaged at the end. Someone should also tell Barb it’s weird to clap at news of your son banging in a windmill all night but to frown at a girl wanting to wait. BARB IS WEIRD," one Twitter user commented on Reality Steve's post.

And another wrote, "I am so on Barb’s side. While Madison stays seemingly graceful, the truth is obvious...also a simple apology can go far and Madison still has none. She can hold her opinion and still be polite and gracious to those who had to wait around for her..."
