By now, you'll be well-aware that Kim Kardashian has taken somewhat of a shining to 70s music icon (who are we kidding? Life icon) Cher.

Earlier this month, the 36-year-old posted a photograph her 'Armenian style icon' following a photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar Arabia, in which she could be seen brushing her long, jet-black hair.

Cher's response?

However, in an interview with PEOPLE, the 71-year-old has opened up about what she really thinks about the mother-of-two ripping off her signature hair look.

And fortunately for Kim, it's gone down well with the 'Believe' singer.

'It's a good look!' she revealed. 'I saw Kim [Kardashian West] do it, and thought it was so great. I've worn my hair like that since I was a girl.

'For now it's back, but then girls will start doing something else when they get bored,' she admitted.

Despite the likes of Jourdan Dunn and Jennifer Lopez copying the look in recent weeks, let's not forget that Cher was the original icon for this sleek hair style.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Oscar-winner opened up about her favourite looks over the years and where exactly she keeps her most memorable outfits.

'They have to be kept in a unit that is the right temperature so the fabrics are preserved.'

'I don't plan to re-wear them, but also my whole life I was 106 pounds, and I haven't been that in a million years! I can't really get into most of them. There's a big difference between 106 and 126,' she added.

Anyone else praying for a Cher fashion exhibition at the V&A in London in the near future?

Glad we're not the only ones...
