Oh, heil no.

A German auction house is set to sell drawings and paintings attributed to Adolf Hitler – and some could sell for upwards of $50,000.

More than 30 works of Hitler’s art are being sold by Auktionshaus Weidler in Nuremberg.

Before his days as a demonic dictator, Hitler was a self-propelled artist. Between 1908 and 1913, he traveled through Vienna composing watercolor paintings and drawings, many of them landscapes.

He twice tried to get into the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, but was rejected.

Starting prices for the works in Saturday’s auction range from $150 (130 euros) for small pieces and $51,000 (45,000 euros) for larger pieces. Among the pieces is a nude drawing of the Nazi leader’s half-niece, Geli Raubal, who was thought to have killed herself with Hitler’s gun.

The pieces – many from private collections – are signed “Adolf Hitler” or “A. Hitler.”

While the auction house defends the authenticity of the works, other paintings and drawings attributed to Herr Fuhrer have turned out to be fakes, including three paintings seized last month by police that were up for auction at a separate house.

Regardless of authenticity, some have no interest in buying artwork by the terrible tyrant.

“Genuinely, how would you explain having a Hitler original on your wall?” Twitter user James Savage wrote.
