Bathing suit-clad Britney Spears asks if she’s ‘going to war’ amid family feud

Britney Spears is continuing to celebrate freedom from her conservatorship — bare legs and all — while vacationing in Hawaii with fiancé Sam Asghari.

The pop icon, 40, posted a video of herself wearing a hot pink bathing suit via Instagram on Tuesday, recalling the time she was allegedly forced to “wear two layers of tights every night” if her legs were exposed while performing under her conservatorship.

“The one night I cheated and said NO and didn’t cover my legs, I swear I danced 💃 and moved waaay faster with nothing on them,” she claimed.

“This bathing suit 👙 is actually expensive !!! It kind of looks like a costume but it’s cool to see my legs raw.”

Spears then detailed some of the other alleged restrictions her conservators imposed upon her in the past.

“People don’t know this but when I did Vegas, I was never allowed to go to the spa 🧖‍♀️,” she claimed. “They didn’t want me having coffee ☕️ or tea so my friends from home would show up going to the spas drinking champagne 🍾 No lie.”

She continued, “And I was the loser working and entertaining them at night … doesn’t sound like a good deal to me either !!!!”

The “…Baby One More Time” singer added that while in Maui, she wanted to remind “them” that “being treated like an equal individual doesn’t require much … just RESPECT.”

“Psss are we going to war 🙄😜 ???,” she concluded.

Spears did not clarify whom she was demanding respect from (or with whom she was “going to war”), but she’s been publicly feuding with her family for a while now –particularly with sister Jamie Lynn Spears on social media and father Jamie Spears in the courtroom.

Britney and Jamie Lynn, 30, have most recently clashed over the youngest Spears sibling’s new book, “Things I Should Have Said.”

Earlier this month, the “Toxic” singer called the “Zoey 101” alum a “selfish little brat” for comments she made while promoting her memoir on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny approved a trial to determine if Britney’s father spied on her and misappropriated her millions.

In the past, Britney has slammed her family for allegedly being complicit in her conservatorship.

She said in an Instagram post in November 2021, “honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me … it was demoralizing and degrading !!!!”

Jamie Lynn, however, has claimed she did try to help her big sister and even offered her legal resources when she found out Britney’s former attorney, Samuel Ingham, allegedly had shady practices.
