It’s never too early to stir up some offseason excitement for the upcoming Miami Dolphins season.

And not many things get Dolphins fans more excited than throwback uniforms.

The Dolphins will wear vintage, white uniforms for their Week 2 game against the New England Patriots, according Tom Garfinkel, the vice-chairman, president and chief executive officer of the team and Hard Rock Stadium.

Garfinkel, who posted a photo of the white jersey on social media Saturday morning, said the jerseys will be available for sale next month.

“Anyone ready for Sept 15 vs. Patriots @hardrockstadium ? (also Dan Mario’s BD #justsaying) – these jerseys available in June…” Garfinkel wrote on his Instagram and Twitter posts.

The Dolphins, under new coach Brian Flores, begin the 2019 season with two consecutive home games: the season opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 8, and the matchup with the Patriots on Sept. 15.

The last time Miami hosted New England, the Dolphins produced their magical, Miami Miracle play where running back Kenyan Drake scored an improbable 69-yard touchdown, which featured a hook and two laterals with no time remaining.

The Dolphins stunned the Patriots, 34-33, on Dec. 9, while wearing aqua throwback jerseys.
