Boutique investment bank FinnCap Group Plc confirmed it has cut headcount and canceled its interim dividend as the economic downturn weighs on investor sentiment.

Voluntary and mandatory redundancies resulted in a headcount reduction of about 15 people across all parts of the group and at all levels, the City of London firm said alongside its first-half results Bloomberg TerminalTuesday. The company cut its spending on marketing events and branding, and is also advertising surplus office space.
