LINDENHURST, NY - A local company, Proudtown, recently created a video highlighting the history of Lindenhurst.
"Proudtown has spent the last several months in the Village of Lindenhurst, NY. We have been exploring it’s downtown, it’s beaches, it’s parks, it’s resources, but, most importantly it’s people," the video description reads. "What we found is definitely a Proud Town and we’ve created this short video that showcases what this wonderful community has to offer."
The 13-minute video shares the story of the 148-year-old history of the village through interviews with village historian Anna Jaeger, Lindenhurst Historical Society member Johanna Sandy, President of the Chamber of Commerce Joann Boettcher, Superintendent of schools Daniel Giordano, members of the fire department, local business owners and more.
