Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey announced their engagement Friday.


These Team Canada hockey players may have placed second during the 2023 IIHF Women’s World Championship, but they placed first in each others’ hearts Friday when they announced their engagement.

“So … this happened,” Team Canada’s Marie-Philip Poulin posted on Instagram underneath a photo of her new fiancée, Team Canada’s Laura Stacey. “Best question I ever asked.”
