BROOKLYN, MI - As rain washed away the final few hours of testing at Michigan International Speedway on Tuesday, April 24, NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski asked Twitter for some advice.

It was Keselowski's crew chief Paul Wolfe's birthday and the team had some time to kill before testing resumed Wednesday morning.

More than 150 suggestions later, the 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion and Rochester Hills native took his team to Jackson's Grand River Brewery.

"2crew found a killer beer and food joint in Jackson," Keselowski posted on Twitter.

Keselowski, who is sponsored by Miller Lite, was back on the track Wednesday for the second day of Goodyear tire testing. He spoke briefly in the media center about his season so far, as he sits fifth in the points standings without a win.

Other drivers at the test included 2017 champion Martin Truex Jr. and 2018 Daytona 500 winner Austin Dillon. Fans were permitted to watch for free, although lap times were not displayed.

The NASCAR circuit heads to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend. Racing returns to MIS on June 10 for the FireKeepers Casino 400 and Aug. 12 for the Consumers Energy 400.

Keselowski and Michigan's other native driver, Erik Jones, are winless at MIS in the Cup Series.
