Adam Schiff thinks Adam Schiff is a threat to democracy and shouldn’t be elected to the Senate

.

If Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) didn’t have double standards, he’d have no standards at all.

The California representative, who frequently lamented the spread of misinformation and its subsequent threat to democracy but was a frequent purveyor of it himself declared he was running for U.S. Senate on Thursday, as the Washington Examiner reported. Schiff is seeking Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s (D-CA) seat.

If Adam Schiff listened to his comments from recent years about politicians who allegedly spread misinformation, Adam Schiff would think that Adam Schiff shouldn’t be elected to the Senate. He’s routinely commented on how anyone who spreads misinformation threatens our democracy. He has spoken about it and repeatedly tweeted that “misinformation is dangerous.” Schiff is the exact danger he repeatedly warned the country about.

Consider Schiff’s long history of battles with the truth. He made false claims of Russian collusion by former President Donald Trump. He stated that he had “more than circumstantial evidence” of such wrongdoing between Russia and Trump, but it turned out he had no such evidence.

Then there was Schiff’s attempt to obstruct the release of former Rep. Devin Nunes’s memo in 2018, which detailed the FBI spying on a Trump campaign staffer in October 2016 after obtaining warrants that were based on misleading “politically motivated or questionable sources.” It turned out Nunes was telling the truth — Schiff was lying.

There was also Schiff’s reading of an alleged phone transcript of a call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that turned out to be entirely fake. Additionally, there was Schiff’s dishonesty regarding contact with the whistleblower from Trump’s second impeachment trial.

And then there were the revelations from the “Twitter Files” about Schiff’s attempted censorship of dissenting viewpoints and his desire to limit the flow of information to the public, and consistent calls to have specific tweets removed because they did not align with Schiff’s political viewpoints.

Adam Schiff is everything Adam Schiff claims to hate about American politics. Yet his thirst for power and influence overrides his conscience. If Adam Schiff were honest, he would not vote for himself in an election for senator of California. And given his penchant for lies, neither should any Californian.
