Some properties have so many amenities, you might wonder why a homeowner would ever need to leave the house.

Think in-ground pools, movie theaters, wet bars, outdoor kitchens, saunas, hot tubs, tennis courts, horse stables and home gyms that could rival a neighborhood fitness center. Many have stunning panoramic views.

We scoped out some of the most expensive homes listed for sale on Trulia in Northampton and Lehigh counties. It's no surprise the most breathtaking topped $3.5 million -- a price tag nearly 20 times the median home value in Pennsylvania ($176,500).

Here's a sampling of five upscale homes across Northampton and Lehigh counties with sellers who really understand luxury. All the information about the listings -- ranked lowest to highest -- came from Trulia and the individual property's leasing agents.

5. 1607 Saucon Valley Road, Lower Saucon Township ($2.2 million)

This 4,384-square-foot custom home sits on 2.8 acres.

It includes four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Formal living and dining spaces overlook a paver patio and gardens. A chef's kitchen is equipped with Graphite Dacor appliances and a quartz waterfall island.
