The Oregon Ducks men's basketball program has commitments from five-star small forward Louis King and four-star power forward Miles Norris in the class of 2018, but are still in the mix for a number of elite recruits.
Dana Altman and his program are finalists for R.J. Barrett and Bol Bol, the top two prospects in the 2018 class, as well as several other highly-coveted talents.
On Wednesday, ESPN five-star shooting guard Luguentz Dort is set to make his announcement and is down to a final three of Arizona State, Baylor and Oregon:
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Canadian prospect, who plays for The Conrad Academy (Orlando, Florida), visited Oregon in early September and was once considered a Ducks lean.
Over the past few weeks, however, Arizona State has emerged as a favorite.
Oregon appears to be in good shape for top-40 national prospect Will Richardson, one of the nation's top guards, and are also serious contenders for Barrett, Bol and five-star power forward Emmitt Williams.
A commitment from Dort would not be a total shock, but Oregon fans shouldn't consider it a major blow to the recruiting effort.
With just two-to-three scholarships remaining, depending on the future of the current roster, the Ducks don't have a lot of room remaining in the 2018 cycle and still have a lot of interest around the country.
