R&B artist Jeremih, whose debut single, “Birthday Sex,” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard chart in 2009, has reportedly been hospitalized after contracting coronavirus.

The 33-year-old Chicago native is on a ventilator and “fighting for his life,” TMZ reported Saturday.

It’s unclear when Jeremih was diagnosed or how long he’s been in the hospital.

“Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now,” Chance the Rapper tweeted. “I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him.”

50 Cent confirmed that the singer has been hospitalized in Chicago.

“Pray for my boy Jeremih he’s not doing good this covid s–t is real,” he tweeted.

Jeremih, born Jeremy Philip Felton, released his latest album, “Mih-Ty,” with Ty Dolla $ign in October 2018.
