Coronation Street spoilers to follow.
Coronation Street has confirmed that Ronnie Bailey will soon set his sights on a new love interest – Jenny Connor.
In scenes scheduled to air throughout next week, the Weatherfield newcomer – who has been staying at the Rovers Return – will be seen striking up a bond with landlady Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews), after he suggests that they travel together to pick up his brother Ed's campervan.
Jenny's former stepdaughter Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) clocks the chemistry between the pair, which makes her feel uncomfortable when Jenny's husband Johnny (Richard Hawley) calls home from prison and quizzes her about the B&B's latest guest.

After they arrive back from their jolly, it's clear that there's some sort of romantic spark between Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) and Jenny. But will they act on it?
Later, Jenny tries to convince Ronnie and Ed to settle their differences over a drink in the pub. But as the siblings start to reminisce about their childhood, and put things right between them, Ronnie's estranged wife Kat storms in.
Ed and Jenny are both left shocked when Kat reveals that she's not Ronnie's business partner, as they had been led to believe, but his life partner.

The revelation leads to an upset Jenny telling Ronnie that it's about time he find a more permanent place to live, while Ronnie informs Ed that he plans to sell his half of the business to Kat and see where the mood takes him – in both career and location.
With his bags all packed, Ronnie begs Jenny to give him another chance, but his desperate plea is interrupted when Johnny, having been released from prison, rocks up unexpectedly with a bunch of flowers in his hands.
Following an awkward introduction, Ronnie insists that he's just leaving and heads out as Johnny goes to hug Jenny. Johnny acknowledges that he hasn't been the best husband recently, but promises to make it up to Jenny going forward.
Finally, Ronnie calls Ed to say goodbye, which prompts the latter to offer Ronnie his campervan as temporary accommodation.
Ronnie is delighted, and thankful for Ed's support – but will his feelings for Jenny cause havoc on the cobbles?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, May 17, Wednesday, May 19 and Friday, May 21 from 7.30pm on ITV.
