The brother of Hunter Biden‘s new wife, Melissa Cohen, has yet to meet Biden but hopes to soon.
“We are all very happy for Melissa and wish her and Hunter all the best for the future,” Melissa’s brother Garyn Cohen told Page Six in an email Thursday. “Melissa is an amazing person and we all love and adore her dearly. Looking forward to meeting and getting to know my new brother in law(hopefully soon)!!”
As Page Six previously reported, Biden, 49, secretly wed South African beauty Cohen in May — just 10 days after they met. She now lives in Los Angeles.
“They met and fell hard and got hitched,” a source said.
This is the second marriage for both Biden, the younger son of 2020 presidential hopeful Joe Biden, and Cohen. His divorce from Kathleen Buhle Biden was finalized in 2017, while Cohen was previously married to a man named Jason Landver. Hunter and Kathleen are the parents of three daughters: Naomi, 24, Finnegan, 19, and Maisy, 18.
Biden had been dating Hallie Biden — his late brother Beau’s widow — until they split up in April, as reported exclusively by Page Six.
