DOWNTOWN, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn cop who was caught on video punching two teenagersduring a violent arrest at Jay Street/MetroTech station over the weekend had a history of complaints against him, the New York Post reported.

Law enforcement told the Post that the unidentified officer, who worked with Downtown Brooklyn's 84th Precinct, has been transferred since the Saturday fight, which was caught on video and soon went viral online.

The cop can be seen running up and punching a teenager in the face as a group of officers try to arrest the teen on the Jay Street/MetroTech station platform. The same officer is caught throwing punches at another teenager, who gets pinned to the ground, later in the video.

The officer has had multiple previous complaints filed against him with the Civilian Complaint Review Board, including the use of force, the sources said. They told the Post he was moved from the 84th Precinct to the Brooklyn detective squad, where he'll stay on full duty.

Three 18-year-olds, a 16-year-old and 15-year-old were arrested during the Saturday brawl, which took place around 2:20 a.m.

It followed another video of a chaotic subway arrest on Friday, where officers throw a man to the ground in a subway car at Crown Height's Franklin Avenue station as about a dozen other officers surround him.

The videos have led a growing number of elected officials to call for an investigation.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams has called for the officer who is seen punching the teens to be put on modified duty until an investigation is completed.

The teenagers may have been assaulting a young woman and one of them sprayed pepper spray inside the station, Adams said at a rally held about the fight on Monday.
