In the weeks leading up, we all speculated about the style Meghan Markle was going to go with on the day she married Prince Harry.
Would she wear a more elevated version of her signature messy bun?
Or opt for a half up and half down look, similar to what Kate Middleton did during her 2011 nuptials?
Well, the speculation is over. Prince Harry’s bride went with a sophisticated updo bun with a modern part down the middle.
For the ceremony, she wore Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara, Kensington Palace confirmed. The platinum piece was made in 1932, but the center brooch dates back to 1893. Eleven sections make up the flexible band, and it's pierced with interlaced ovals and pavé set with large and small brilliant diamonds. The center, detachable brooch itself is set with 10 more diamonds.
