STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The Department of Transportation (DOT) will conduct paving efforts on Staten Island streets next week from Monday, Sept. 24, to Friday, Sept. 28.
There is no milling scheduled for next week.
To register a complaint or to report a pothole or other street defect, call either the city's central complaint hotline at 311 or the Staten Island DOT office at 212-839-2395.
All work is subject to weather or emergency road work. Notices to move parked cars from streets that are scheduled to be milled or paved are posted in advance. If a car is not moved, the city will tow it around the corner.
STREETS TO BE PAVED (DAYTIME):
Monday (Great Kills): Jumel Avenue, from Greaves Avenue to Giffords Lane.
Tuesday (Great Kills): Jumel Avenue, from Greaves Avenue to Giffords Lane; Kennington Street, from Corbin Avenue to Linton Place.
Wednesday (Great Kills): Kennington Street, from Corbin Avenue to Linton Place; Newvale Avenue, from Arthur Kill Road to dead end.
Thursday (Great Kills): Tanglewood Drive, from Arthur Kill Road to Ironwood Street.
Friday (Great Kills): Tanglewood Drive, from Arthur Kill Road to Ironwood Street.

Monday (Chelsea): South Avenue, from Staten Island Rapid Transit to Fahy Avenue.
Tuesday (Chelsea): South Avenue, from Staten Island Rapid Transit to Fahy Avenue.
Wednesday (Chelsea): South Avenue, from Staten Island Rapid Transit to Fahy Avenue.
Thursday (Chelsea): South Avenue, from Staten Island Rapid Transit to Fahy Avenue.
Friday (Chelsea): South Avenue, from Staten Island Rapid Transit to Fahy Avenue.
