STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Hours after a 4-year-old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle in Brooklyn, family of the 6-year-old who survived the ordeal convened at the hospital.

According to the boy’s older brother, he was asking for his friend, Yoshi Balaban, who police said was pronounced dead at the scene.
