You Must Not Miss Apple’s Dramatic MacBook Pro Offer

Following
This article is more than 3 years old.

After the expectations were confirmed at last year’s WWDC, Apple released its ARM-powered Macs in November 2020. The geekerati snapped up the new MacBook Airs, MacBook Pros, and mac Minis. The majority of concerns around the software transitions have been addressed, and while the move to Apple Silicon is still in its first generation of hardware, the temptation to upgrade now for many is high.

For those who are on the fence, Apple’s hidden discount of up to $200 may be enough to seal the deal.

Even after many years, Apple’s refurb section still comes as a surprise to many. Offering refurbished hardware, generally with a fifteen percent discount, init takes teh edge off the perceived high price of Apple’s hardware. Apple will still offer a twelve-month warranty and you can purchase Apple Care for the same price as those who buy their MacBooks new.

The latest MacBooks, sporting the Apple M1 chip, are now available in the Apple Store.

The 8 GB MacBook Pro is available for $1099 with 256 GB of storage, or $1269 with 512 GB of storage. Perhaps the best deal is the entry level MacBook Air. With 8 GB of RAM it’s available at $849. Sure you get a plain white box instead of the fancy retail box, but everything you need is part of the package. The 16 GB variant is now priced at $1019.

Stock levels are variable, so if you are looking for a specific set-up you may need to keep checking in with the online store.
