Khloé Kardashian took to Twitter to call out mom-shamers on social media who continue to comment on the length of her nails. “It’s annoying when people talk about my nails,” she began her Tweet. “Trust me, I manage just fine. The same way I take care of myself, I take care of my baby. There are more serious things to discuss. At least I would hope. 🙄 happy Monday to you.” The backlash started when Kardashian, mom to 10-month-old True Thompson, posted a photo of her matte red mani on Instagram over the weekend. Her followers were quick to point out that the length of her nails did not seem conducive to changing diapers. “Omg how can you handle a baby with those nails,” one social media user wrote, with another commenting on how it would be difficult to change diapers with long nails. And one user pointed out that Kardashian “had the nails of a woman who pays other people to do everything for her.” Charles Sykes/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty; Khloé Kardashian/Instagram Others were quick to defend the star, writing, “How about ya’ll just leave her alone. Every mom does it her own way, just stop judging! Who cares her changing diapers with those nails — it’s her live on yours.” Every Time Khloé Kardashian Has Clapped Back at Mom-Shamers This is far from the first time Kardashian as turned to her social media platforms to call out critics. Most recently, she defended herself after being called out for photo shopping her Instagram pictures. In response to a user who asked whether the Good American co-founder would even “keep IG if all photo editing apps were gone forever,” Kardashian countered, “Would you?” “Sometimes I wonder why people comment if it adds no value to ones life,” she added. “Maybe I’m just different… but I don’t care to be negative or passive aggressive. Our world is toxic enough as it is. It’s sad people care to criticize something like an editing app.” Last summer, after a fan accused the reality star of “embedding materialism in [True’s] brain” after she shared pictures of her daughter sitting in a mini Bentley. “She’s a baby who received a beautiful sweet gift and I was SOOO excited to put her in it and take a picture! I’m enjoying every single moment I can with my sweet angel! The angel GOD gave me!” Kardashian hit back in the comments section.
